Buy our seed at Seedy Saturday!

lorna harvest kaleSeedy Saturdays are seed-share events held across North America. In PEI, the first of these events will take place on February 20th, at 2pm at the Confederation Centre Public Library. Summerside’s Seedy Sunday will take place on February 28th at the Summerside Rotary Library. Montague Rotary Library will host a Seedy Saturday on March 5th.

These events are opportunities for community gardeners to get together and share and swap seeds that they have saved (or leftover) from the previous year.

In addition to the free community-provided seed, you can boost your new seed collection, with a few packets purchased from the PEI Seed Alliance!

Our seed is open-pollinated or heirloom,  organic or sustainably grown, and is grown by small farmers across PEI. We only sell seed that we love, and we use proper techniques to prevent cross-pollination.
